Norman Sanders

Norman Sanders, MD, eye physician and surgeon, received his medical degree from Syracuse University Medical School: his internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He was selected to receive his ophthalmology residence training at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

He did his corneal training in 1960 through 1961 at the Queen Victoria Hospital in England and subsequently at the Barraquer Institute in Barcelona; both internationally recognized for their corneal work.

Most of his scientific publications concern surgery and treatment of the cornea.

Dr Sanders is a clinical Associate Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and has enjoyed an excellent reputation in private practice for more than twenty years; he joined the Jaffe Lasik Eye Institute team in 1998.
